Approval of the recording of the Official City Election Results for the Special Election Run-off for Ward 6 held July 24, 2018. The candidates in the runoff election on July 24, 2018 were Tim Gould with 603 total votes for 60.30% and Idella Moore with 397 total votes for 39.70%. There were 1021 total votes for the Ward 6 runoff election which was 18.9% of the registered voters (5,416) in Ward 6.

The two (2) candidates running in the Runoff Election for the Ward 6 Council seat were Tim Gould, who received the required 50% plus 1 of the vote to win the election. The special Election was held May 22, 2018. There were five (5) candidates running for the Ward 6 Council seat. No candidate got 50% plus 1 of the vote, the two (2) candidates with the highest number of votes are scheduled for a run-off election July 24, 2018. There were 1,436 total votes for the Ward 6 Special Election. The top two (2) candidates were Idella Moore who received 381 votes, 28.54% and Tim Gould received 324 votes, 24.27%. There will be a run-off election on July 24, 2018 to decide the Ward 6 representative.
