Body
ISSUE: The City of Smyrna had a franchise agreement with Greystone Power Corporation (formerly Douglas County Electric Membership Corporation), which expired in 2000. They have continued to pay their franchise fees to the City, and this renewal is to formerly extend the franchise agreement with them for the next 35 years. City Attorney Scott Cochran has reviewed and recommended approval.
