ISSUE: Renewal of the City's Wellness Program contract with CHP
BACKGROUND: The City has engaged in a Wellness program with CHP (formerly CHN) for 8 years. We continue to see outstanding results (i.e. employees losing weight, blood pressure improvements, more active lifestyles). With the help of an onsite coach, more and more employees are understanding their health issues and taking steps to living healthier lives. The wellness program has played a major role in controlling the city's healthcare costs. No change in the annual contract fee (same as the last 5 years.)
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Approval of the City's Wellness Program renewal with Corporate Health Partners (CHP) and authorize Mayor to execute related documents
