ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
Public Facilities and Services, Inc. (PFS) has submitted the following proposal to City of Smyrna Public Works Department (COS) for the refurbishment of 9 Bus Shelters within the CobbLinc transit system. The locations of the shelters are as follows:
- S Cobb Dr E/S, 850 ft N/O Concord Rd (In front of the Old Ruby Tuesday across from Kroger)
- S Cobb Dr E/S, 225 ft N/O Church Rd (Next to Cobb Douglas Public Health)
- S Cobb Dr E/S, 250 ft S/O Bank St (Near the Chevron across from Smoothie King)
- S Cobb Dr E/S, 30 ft S/O Powder Springs St (Near Shell station across from Iglesia Pentacostal Roca de Salvacion)
- S Cobb Dr E/S, 125 ft N/O Windy Hill Rd (In front of Starship)
- S Cobb Dr E/S, 150 ft N/O Old Concord Rd (Across from Smyrna International Academy)
- S Cobb Dr W/S, 150 ft N/O Windy Hill Rd (Between Walgreens and Wendy's)
- S Cobb Dr W/S, 25 ft S/O Bank St (Next to Smoothie King)
- S Cobb Dr W/S, 450 ft S/O Church Rd (In front of 1911 Biscuits/Chick-fil-a)
Scope of Work:
PFS will provide the following services for each of 9 bus shelters:
· Pressure wash entire shelter
· Disassemble Shelters and Benches
· Sand, prep for paint, and paint shelters and benches
· Reassemble shelters and benches
· Install new roof panels
· Install new bench slats in bench
· Install new vinyl signage
