Appointment of the Permanent and Alternate License and Variance Board members

ISSUE:
Due to recent staff turnover the License and Variance Board has lost permanent and alternate members to its Board. It is necessary to appoint new members to serve as Permanent and Alternate members to the License and Variance Board.
The License & Variance Board is made up of three permanent members and alternate members from the City of Smyrna staff. The alternate members substitute on the occasions where other responsibilities prevent permanent members unable to attend the meeting. Staff would like to recommend for appointment Assistant City Administrator Tammi Saddler Jones, Deputy Chief Roy Acree and Public Works Director Scott Stokes as Permanent members of the License & Variance Board; and appoint City Engineer Eric Randall, Police Chief David Lee, Fire Chief Paige Day and City Administrator Eric Taylor as Alternate members to the License & Variance Board.
