ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
King Springs Elementary 5th graders would like to celebrate graduation with a mobile parade that winds through Ward 4 from King Springs Elementary to North Cooper Lake Park on May 26, 2021 at 10:00am. Smyrna PD will be present to handle all traffic issues with the rolling road blocks and social media will be updated to inform the citizens in the area. Road closures are not expected to last longer than 10 minutes in each area.
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends approval of the King Springs Elementary Mobile 5th Grader Parade on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10:00am with rolling road closures with police presence following the attached route from North Cooper Lake Park to King Springs Elementary.
