ISSUE AND BACKGROUND

Over the past several years CDBG funds invested in the city have paid for numerous public improvements; and the City of Smyrna continues being a subrecipient of the Cobb County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Effective January 1, 2022, the Subrecipient Agreement is amended to reflect the changes as noted. All other language, requirements and provisions of the original Subrecipient Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force.

 

The termination date for the agreement, as amended, shall be extended to June 30, 2022.

 

RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:  Approval of Amendment No. 5 to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Sub Recipient Agreement No: CD20-C20SA-A and CD20-C20S8-F to extend the termination date for the agreement to June 30, 2022 and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
