ISSUE:  The amendment is required to comply with recent regulartory directives from the IRS regarding the Defense of Marriage Act of 1996.

BACKGROUND:  The amendment is required to comply with recent regulartory directives from the IRS regarding the Defense of Marriage Act of 1996. It requires our plan to change the definition of Spouse to meet the new IRS guidelines. It does not affect the 457 plan at this time.
