BACKGROUND: Public Works requested bids for the replacement of a flat body dump truck for the sanitation department. Three vendors submitted bids as follows:
Wade Ford $45,544.00
Auto Nation Ford of Marietta $45,710.00
Rush Truck Centers $60,333.75
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works and Purchasing have reviewed these bids and recommend Mayor and Council award RFP 15-043 Flat Body Dump Truck to the lowest bidder Wade Ford for $45,544.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
