ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
Smyrna Little League would like to celebrate opening day of their baseball season with a mobile parade on March 19, 2022, starting at Campbell Middle School at 7:30 am and concluding in Brinkley Park by 9:00 am. Smyrna PD will be present to handle all traffic issues with the rolling road blocks and social media will be updated to inform the citizens in the area.
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends approval of the Smyrna Little League Opening Day Parade on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 7:30 am with rolling road closures and police presence following the attached route from Campbell Middle School to Brinkley Park.
