ISSUE: Award RFP 16-012 Fire Systems Inspections/Maintenance to the lowest bidder All-Star for $62,743.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
BACKGROUND: Public Works Requested bids to establish annual contract unit pricing for the repairs, maintenance and inspection of all city building fire suppression systems including fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, cooking vent hoods etc. Three vendors submitted bids as follows:
All-Star Fire $62,743.00
Alliance Fire Protection Services $64,259.30
Cliff's Fire Extinguisher Co. $72,582.00
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works and Purchasing have reviewed the bids and recommend Award of RFP 16-012 Fire Systems Inspections/Maintenance to the lowest Bidder All-Star Fire for $62,743.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
