BACKGROUND:
Veterans Day Ceremony will be taking place at Veterans Memorial Plaza with seating on Bank Street from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. The event will honor the service of military veterans and is being conducted by the Smyrna Veterans Committee. The Whitefield Academy band and Campbell Middle School Choir will be in attendance to perform. The event will be facing city hall and seating will be located on Bank Street. The road closure is to ensure public safety and prevent traffic from disturbing the ceremony.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:
Staff recommends approval of the road closure.
