BACKGROUND:  Public Works requested bids for paving projects throughout the City. Four vendors submitted bids as follows:

Butch Thompson Enterprises                               $1,288,200.75
Stewart Brothers                                                    $1,312,344.10
Baldwin Paving Company                                    $1,366,481.42
 
 
 
 
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:  Public Works and Purchasing have reviewed the bids and recommend award of RFP 15-045 to the lowest bidder C. W. Matthews Contracting Company for $1,216,695.16 and Authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
