BACKGROUND: Public Works requested bids for a lump sum contract for the installation of approximately 3,080 LF(Linear feet) of 12" Ductile Iron water line, 6,060 LF of 8'' Ductile Iron water line, valves and fittings for State Route 280 South Cobb Drive The existing 6-inch and 10-inch cast iron water lines under driving lanes will be abandoned in place.The City will be providing the water line, valves, pipes, copper fittings, etc. contractors purchased the bid plans and two(2) bids were received.
