ISSUE: Approval to purchase a 2020 Kenworth T370 Pac-Mac Knuckle boom loader (kBF-20H-HJ/1925) The knuckle boom loader is funded in the FY20 vehicle replacement fund for a total cost of $148,930.00. The Vehicle will be purchased through State of Georgia Contract Number #99999-SPD0000155-002-MHC Kenworth Atlanta (Mableton Ga.) The vehicle has been competitively bid through this contract.
BACKGROUND: The Public Works Department was authorized $ 165,000.00 in the FY20 vehicle replacement fund for the replacement of 2005 GMC T7500 Knuckle boom truck.(VIN 4305). The vehicle will be purchased using State of Georgia contract number #99999-SPD0000155-002- MHC Kenworth Atlanta (Mableton Ga.) the vehicle has already been competitively bid through this contract.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: The Public Works Director, Staff and Purchasing recommends approval of this purchase from MHC Kenworth Atlanta 5860 Riverview Road Mableton Ga. 30126 in the amount of $148,930.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
