ISSUE: Award RFP 15-004 Two 2016 F-750 Dump Trucks to the lowest bidder Wade Ford for $78,877.00 each and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents. 

 

BACKGROUND:  Public Works requested bids for the replacement of two dump trucks one for the Water/Sewer Division and one for the Street Department. Two vendors submitted bids as follows:

 

Wade Ford                                    $157,754.00

Rush Truck Centers                      $177,287.54

 

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: 

 Public Works and Purchasing have reviewed the bids and recommend bid award to the lowest bidder Wade Ford for $157,754.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
