ISSUE: Approval and adoption of 2015 Pay Plan Update
BACKGROUND: Considering recent and pending changes in the market, and questions as to the competitiveness of senior management positions, the City engaged the Archer Company to update its market data from 2014 and reassess the relative placement of senior management classifications in the pay plan. As a result of the market analysis, recommendations for updating the City of Smyrna's pay ranges are submitted and requested to be adopted by Council, effective with the begining of the FY16 budget.
