Body

ISSUE:  

It is the policy of the City of Smyrna to promote businesses equally. Any alliance that the City may have with a private entity regarding marketing or promotion of a product or service within the City shall be non-exclusive.

BACKGROUND:  

The City may enter into alliance agreements with private companies from time to time. However, these agreements and this cooperation are not exclusive and will not favor one private company over another.

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:  

Approve the Policy of the City of Smyrna to promoate businesses equally.
