BACKGROUND: Public Works requested bids for the installation and replacement of approximately 36 linear feet of deteriorated storm sewer piping on Bank Street. Six vendors submitted bids with two of the vendors not meeting specifications as follows:

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works and Purchasing have reviewed the bids and recommend Mayor and Council award RFP 15-010 Bank Street Drainage Project to the lowest and most responsible bidder Ardito Construction Company for $37,296.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
