ISSUE: Award RFP 15-041 Crew Cab Truck for the Water Sewer Department to the lowest bidder Wade Ford for $61,960,00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.

 

BACKGROUND:  Public Works requested bids for the replacement of a Water/Sewer department service truck. Two vendors submitted bids as follows:

 

Wade Ford                $61,960.00

Rush Truck Centers  $79,874.30

 

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:  Public Works and Purchasing have reviewed the bids and recommend Mayor and Council award RFP 15-041 Crew Cab Truck for the Water Sewer Department to the lowest bidder Wade Ford for $61,960.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
