Approval of the recording of the Official City Election Results for the Special Election Run-off for Ward 3 held December 5, 2017.
Body
ISSUE: The Special Election was held November 8, 2017. There were five (5) candidates running for the Ward 3 Council seat. No candidate got 50% plus 1 of the vote, the two (2) candidates with the highest number of votes were scheduled for a run-off election for December 5, 2017. The top two (2) candidates were Travis Lindley and Maryline Blackburn. Maryline Blackburn had the highest number of votes on December 5, 2017. There were 957 total votes for the Ward 3 run-off election; Maryline Blackburn received 511 votes and Travis Lindley received 440 votes.
