ISSUE:
The dedication of Daniel Cemetery at 3761 Cloudland Drive, Smyrna 30082 will make the City of Smyrna the owner of the cemetery property.
BACKGROUND:
Daniel Cemetery contains a number of historic burial plots.
The current owners of the Daniel Cemetery site wish to dedicate the property to the City of Smyrna so that the site and the historic burial plots can be effectively preserved and maintained by the City.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends approval.
