ISSUE:  Award RFP 16-043 Landscape Maintenance Truck to the lowest bidder Rush Truck of Smyrna for $37,686.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.

 

BACKGROUND:  Public Works requested bids for the replacement of a landscape maintenance truck. Two vendors submitted bids as follows:

 

Rush Truck of Smyrna                    $37,686.00

Wade Ford                                      No Bid Letter

 

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:  Public Works Staff have reviewed the bids and recommend award of RFP 16-043 Landscape Maintenance Truck to the lowest bidder Rush Truck of Smyrna for $37,686.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
