Effective date January 1, 2018.

ISSUE: The applicant Longo Homes, Inc. - representative is Vincent Longo is seeking approval for annexation of approximately 1.3 acre tract, Parcel # 17051900680 - all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lots 490 and 519 of the 17th District, 2nd Section, Cobb County, Georgia - 2475, 2485 & 2495 Dixie Avenue, Smyrna, Georgia. The annexation if approved will be effective January 1, 2018. There is a request to re-zone this property from R-15 to RAD-Conditional for the construction of five (5) custom single-family detached homes upon 1.32 acres at a density of 3.82 units per acre.
BACKGROUND: Certified letters were sent to the Cobb County Clerk's Office and the Cobb County Community Development Planning Division. We received a non-objection letter from Cobb County dated November 9, 2017 and received this letter in the Mayor's office November 27, 2017 regarding this annexation.
