ISSUE AND BACKGROUND

Current Community Center fitness equipment is outdated and well past its lifespan and needs immediate replacement. As a result, Advantage Sport and Fitness, Inc. offered a lease option to allow for equipment to be updated as needed.

 

RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:  Parks and Rec staff and Purchasing recommend authorization to approve the Quote (Q000010787) and Agreement with Advantage Sport and Fitness, Inc. (2255 N. Triphammer Road, Ithaca, NY 14850-1576) for the 5 year lease with MacroLease (185 Express Street, Suite 100, Plainview, NY 11803) for replacement of fitness equipment at the Community Center for a total of $52,244.50 to include a 5-year parts and labor warranty and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
