BACKGROUND: Public Works requested bids to renovate the existing restroom building at Cobb Park on Sanford Road near the corner of Bank Street. The structure will receive a new gable standing seam metal roof, split face block facade, electrical, painting, sidewalk and HVAC. Two vendors submitted bids as follows:
P.E. Structures and Associates $82,449.05
Diversified Construction of Georgia $126,629.00
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works, Parks and Purchasing have reviewed the proposal and recommend award of RFP 16-034 Cobb Park Restroom Renovations to the lowest bidder P.E. Structures for $82,449.05 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
