ISSUE:  Bid Award, RFQ 16-024, to the lowest and most responsive bidder, Fouts Brothers Fire Equipment, in the amount of $89,900 for the scheduled replacement of a Heavy Rescue vehicle funded from the FY16 Vehicle Replacement Fund.

 

 

BACKGROUND:  This purchase will replace an existing heavy rescue that is scheduled for replacement this fiscal year from the Vehicle Replacement Fund. This new rescue apparatus will be placed in-service within the Response Division of the Fire Department this summer. The New heavy rescue is a 2016 Ford F450 HD.

 

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:  Recommendation is to approve RFQ 16-024 in the amount of $89,000 to Fouts Brothers Fire Equipment.
