ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
King Springs Elementary would like to celebrate the 5th grade students with a mobile parade on May 25, 2022 starting at North Cooper Lake Park at 2:45 pm and concluding at King Springs Elementary by 4:00 pm. Smyrna PD will be present to handle all traffic issues with the rolling road blocks and social media will be updated to inform the citizens in the area.
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends approval of the Kings Springs Elementary 5th Grade Celebration Parade on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 starting at 2:45 pm with rolling road closures and police presence following the attached route from North Cooper Lake Park to Kings Springs Elementary.
