ISSUE: Award RFP 15-016 Road Garden Park Parking Lot Resurfacing for $20,928.05 (alternate bid) to the lowest bidder Baldwin Paving Co. and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
BACKGROUND: Public Works requested bids for the resurfacing of the lower parking lot at Rose Garden Park. five vendors submitted bids as follows:
Baldwin Paving Co. Base Bid $20,160.40 Alternate Bid $20,928.05
Lori's Transportation & Excavation $23,095.00
PKS Construction $ Development $29,256.00
Proterra Limited Co. $29,820.50
Butch Thompson Enterprises $36,347.50
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Public Work and Purchasing have reviewed the bids and recommend Mayor and Council award RFP 15-016 Rose Garden Parking Lot Resurfacing for $20,928.05 (alternate bid) to the lowest bidder Baldwin Paving Co. and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
