ISSUE: Renewal of the City's Wellness Program contract with CHP
BACKGROUND: The City has engaged in a Wellness program with CHP for 12 years. We continue to see outstanding results (i.e. employees losing weight, blood pressure improvements, more active lifestyles). With the help of 3 onsite coaches, more and more employees are understanding their health issues and taking steps to living healthier lives. The wellness program has placed a major role in in controlling the city's healthcare costs. No change in the annual contract fee (same as the last 9 years). Contract year runs 1/1/20-12/31/20, however approval of contract renewal required prior to upcoming screenings taking place.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Approval of the City's Wellness Program renewal with Corporate Health Partners and authorize Mayor to execute related documents.
