BACKGROUND: Public Works requested bids for the replacement of approximately 200 lf of sanitary sewer and 100 lf of storm sewer. Seven vendors submitted bids as follows:

C & L Contractors $94,779.93
Site Engineering $95,980.00
GS Construction Inc. $115,275.00
K.M. Davis Contracting Co. $115,290.00
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works and Purchasing have reviewed the bids and recommend award of RFP 16-013 Hickory Hill Drive Sewer and Storm Drainage Project to the lowest bidder Ardito Construction Co. for $56,500.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
