ISSUE:
The Smyrna Community Center does not have adequate audio/video equipment to meet the needs of today's technology demands.
BACKGROUND:
Currently, the Smyrna Community Center does not have adequate audio/video equipment in the Banquet Hall to meet the needs of today's technology demands. Therefore, staff feels it is time to install new audio and video equipment in the Banquet Hall that will result in high quality resolution and sound. Seven vendors provided proposals in response to the RFP. Croy Engineering is the project manager.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:
It is the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Department, Purchasing Staff, and Croy Engineering that we award RFP 17-014 to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, LMI Systems, Inc in the amount of $75,067 and authorize the Mayor to sign any related documents.
