ISSUE: Recommendation to remove the incorrect bingo game operation end time of 12:00 p.m. and replace with 12:00 a.m.
BACKGROUND: The section of the Code governing non-profit, tax-exempt organization's bingo gaming erroneously requires such games to not start before 6:00 p.m. and to end prior to 12:00 p.m. on any day these games occur. Staff believes the requirement to end a bingo game before it begins makes compliance rather difficult, and therefore recommends changing the time to the more appropriate 12:00 a.m.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends approval.
