ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: 

The city of Smyrna has maintained a Site Lease Agreement with Crown Castle as a representative of NCWPCS MPL 26  - YEAR SITES TOWER HOLDINGS LLC., and as part of the agreement, notification is required for any modifications that need to be made to the site. T Mobile intends to modify its equipment at the wireless communication facility resulting in the modification needing approval from Mayor and Council and authorization for the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.

 

RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:  Staff recommends approval of the 2022 modified Crown Castle Site Lease Agreement BU 844202 / GA2383 Smyrna Police Fire / 2646 Atlanta Road, Smyrna Ga.  (Site Lease Agreement, dated January 9, 1997) and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
