ISSUE: Award RFP 15-007 Community Center Ceiling Tile Replacement to the lowest bidder ICS Inc. for $64,850.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
BACKGROUND: Public Works requested bids for the replacement of all the ceiling tiles in the community center. Seven vendors responded with the following :
ICS Inc. $64,850.00
Paul's Designs and Construction Inc. $68,769.00
Keystone Commerical $78,840.00
Indoor Air technologies $81,123.00
Acousti Engineering Company of Florida $86,800.00
Midsouth Walls and Ceilings $97,975.00
J. R. Jones Construction Inc. $112,200.00
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works and Purchasing have reviewed the bids and recommend MAyor and Council award RFP 15-007 Community Center Ceiling Tile Replacement to the lowest bidder ICS Inc. for $64,850.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
