ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
Citizens along Dunton Drive have voiced concerns about parked cars along the road frontage that may prohibit/restrict emergency vehicle access. Dunton Drive is approximately 22 feet wide. Prohibiting parking along one side of Dunton Drive will help maintain a clear path for emergency vehicles.
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: The Engineering Department has evaluated the site and recommends approval of “No Parking” signs along one side of Dunton Drive, beginning at Concord Road and ending at South Sherwood Road.
