Approval of the City's Wellness Program renewal in the amount of $125,000.00 with Corporate Health Partners (CHP) and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.

ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
Renewal of the City's Wellness Program contract with CHP. The City has engaged in a Wellness program with CHP for 13 years. We continue to see outstanding results (i.e. employees losing weight, blood pressure improvements, more active lifestyles). With the help of 3 onsite coaches, more and more employees are understanding their health issues and taking steps to living healthier lives. The wellness program has placed a major role in controlling the city's health care costs. No change in the annual contract fee (same as the last 10 years). Contract year runs 1/1/20-12/31/20, however approval of contract renewal required prior to upcoming screenings taking place.
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Human Resources staff recommends approval of the City's Wellness Program renewal in the amount of $125,000.00 with Corporate Health Partners (CHP) and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
