Authorize Atkins Park Tavern to serve alcohol (specialty drink, beer, and wine), beyond the boundaries of the premises (of Atkins Park Tavern) covered by the license, at the Smyrna Parks and Recreation's Evolution:  Moonshine event at the Reed House, 3080 Atlanta Road on Friday, October 26, 2018 (7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.).

ISSUE:  The Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting an event at the Reed house that will involve the serving of alcohol by Atkins Park Restaurant.  The event will be held on October 26 from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.  Evolution:  Moonshine will bring together four types of art in one event.  There will be a food artist presenting a (4) course sampling; a musical artist performing on the lawn; artwork by a local artist on display; and a drink ologist serving a signature cocktail featuring moonshine.  This event will be a 21 and over event where attendees will be required to provide valid ID and will receive a bracelet in order to partake of beverages containing alcohol.

BACKGROUND:  Evolution:  Moonshine will the first of a four part evolution series put on by the Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department.
