Budget Amendment to move previously budgeted funds from Community Development to Economic Development effective July 1, 2019.

ISSUE: The FY 2020 budget was approved in June 2019 with expenses related to Economic Development included in the Community Development department's budget. Economic Development became its own division effective July 1, 2019.
BACKGROUND: A newly created division for Economic Development was added July 1, 2019. We need to move the budgeted funds associated with the department the new division and out of Community Development's budget. Finance worked with personnel from Community Development and Economic Development to include all threlevant expenses in the newly created division.
In total, including salary related costs, $156,116 will be moved between the departments/ divisions in MUNIS.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Recommend approval of the budget amendment to move Economic Development to its own division.
