BACKGROUND: Public works requested bids for the installation of security cameras in several parks buildings and public buildings throughout the City. Five vendors submitted bids as follows: The lowest bidder could not be bonded.

LMI Systems                                             $439,763.00

Knine All Systems                                    $425,013.00

A3 Communications                                $497,428.96

Secure World/Johnson Controls Inc.      $668,000.00

DH Pace                                                    $688,085.00

 

 

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:  Public Works, Purchasing and Croy Engineering have reviewed the bids and recommend award of RFP 16-001 Security Cameras to the second lowest responsible and responsive bidder, LMI Systems for $439,763.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
