ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: 

The applicant, Kalpesh Patel, is seeking approval for annexation of approximately 1.3 acres, parcel number 17026400030 - all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lots 241 and 264, 17th District, 2nd Section, Cobb County, Georgia located at 171 Concord Road SE, Smyrna, GA 30082.  The annexation will become effective August 1, 2020 and be a part of Ward 4. Certified letters were sent to the Cobb County Clerk's Office and the Cobb County Community Development Planning Division. The letter of non-objection from Cobb County was received on January 22, 2020.

 

RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: 

Staff recommends approval of this annexation located at 171 Concord Road, Smyrna Georgia 30082.
