Proclamation in Recognition of Memorial Day Poppy Distribution, May 14th, 21st, 27th, and 30th, 2022

ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: The American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 160 Smyrna, is requesting a Proclamation recognizing the distribution of Poppies in May 2022 to honor, and in remembrance of, our veterans. The following representatives from the American Legion, Post 160, will be in attendance to accept the Proclamation: Glen Crutchfield, Karen Lindgren and Cindy Monk.
Poppies will be distributed on May 14th, May 21st, May 27 (Nat'l Poppy Day) and May 30 (Smyrna Memorial Day Ceremony).
