ISSUE: Updating policy to reflect current terminology and enhancement to on call pay amount
BACKGROUND: The current policy references outdated equipment (such as pagers) that is no longer utilized by the City. The policy has been updated to reflect "mobile devices and cellphones". The proposed revision also includes an enhancement in the daily on-call amount (from $25 to $50) for all departments required to have on-call staffing and clearly defines when and to whom it would be applied.
