ISSUE: Approval of Resolution extending the emergency 911 surcharge
BACKGROUND: During May of 2001, the city council approved a resolution authorizing the City to collect a $1.50 monthly fee from telephone subscribers within the City to offset the costs of providing 911 telephone service to residents. This resolution must be extended annually to continue the surcharge.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Approval of Resolution R-2014-10 for extending the emergency 911 surcharge.
