ISSUE:  Updating policy to reflect current processes and procedures and inclusion of the new Police recruitment/retention bonus structure

 

BACKGROUND:  With the implementation of MUNIS in 2012, several processes and procedures changed, many of which became electronic processes (such as online applications, vacancy/posting requests, personnel actions). The updated policy more accurately reflects our current procedures. In addition, the Police Department will be offering recruitment/retention bonuses as a method for recruiting and maintaining officers.
