ISSUE:
A budget amendment is necessary for staff holiday gift cards and merit increases, additional maintenance and improvement work completed, and professional services.
BACKGROUND:
In January staff received merit increases, a budget amendment of $188,363 from general fund contingency is needed for these increases. Staff holiday gift cards exceeded original budgeted amounts and a budget amendment of $19,000 funded by additional revenues from Vehicle Ad Valorem Tax is required. Additional revenues from the Vehicle Ad Valorem Tax should also be used to fund additional maintenance and improvement work that has been completed for $200,000 and professional services for $72,100.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:
Approval of proposed budget amendments.
