BACKGROUND: Public Works Requested bids for the construction of a public parking lot at the intersection of Concord Road and Hollis Street. Two vendors submitted bids as follows:
Tucker Grading and Hauling $288151.51
Baldwin Paving Company $313,200.00
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works, Purchasing and Croy Engineering have reviewed the bids and recommend award of bid RFQ 17-015 Concord Road Parking Lot to the lowest bidder Tucker Grading and Hauling for $288,151.51 and to authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
