ISSUE:  The applicant Donald Adams, represented by Kevin Moore is seeking approval for annexation of approximately 10.63 acre tract, parcel # 17056200180 - all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 562, 17th District, 2nd Section, Cobb County, Georgia located at 1435 Pierce Avenue, Smyrna GA 30080.  The annexation will become effective January 1, 2017 and become a part of Ward 3.

 

BACKGROUND:  Certified letters were sent to the Cobb County Clerk's Office and the Cobb County  Community Development Planning Division dated October 24, 2016.  We received a non-objection letter from Cobb County dated November 8, 2016 regarding this annexation. 

 

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:  Staff recommends approval
