BACKGROUND: Public Works requested bids to replace two garbage truck bodies. Three vendors submitted bide as follows:
CDS Aquisitions $149,400.00
Carolina Environmental Systems $159,914.00

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works and Purchasing have reviewed the bids and recommend award of RFQ 17-025 Two 25 Yard Leach 2R-III Garbage Truck Bodies to the lowest bidder CDS Aquisitions for $149,400,00 and to authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
