BACKGROUNDPublic Works requested bids for the upgrade of City's existing access control system in several of our public buildings and installation of access control in the remainder of our public buildings that do not currently have security access.

 

A pre bid meeting was held for this project and 8 vendors attended to discuss the scope of work and specifications, one vendor submitted bids as follows:

 

LMI Inc.                 $137,318.00

 

 

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTIONPublic Work, Purchasing and Croy Engineering have reviewed the bid and recommend award of RFP 17-022 Access Control Project to LMI Systems Inc. for $137,318.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related document.
